Initial Blog: blog no.1

I have been impelled into starting up a blog by my grand-daughter Selma who has just moved to Houston, Texas where she has started a Blog to keep all the rest of us in touch with her doings over the next year. Good idea really. Hopefully I shall learn the tricks of the trade and maybe able to use it to jot down (and maybe even share) random thoughts.
